At Lampkin Masonry Inc., we are proud to offer a premier apprenticeship program in partnership with Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Locals 1. When you express interest in becoming a bricklayer, we guide you through the process of joining the union and enrolling in bricklaying school.
Our program allows apprentices to work full-time with us while attending school for two weeks each year. Lampkin Masonry Inc. covers the full cost of tuition, giving you hands-on experience, expert training, and a strong foundation for a long, successful career in the masonry trade.
Many of our apprentices take part in an annual bricklaying competition, where they have the opportunity to qualify for the national championship in Las Vegas. Many Lampkin Masonry apprentices have advanced to the national level—and one even returned as a national bricklaying champion.
We also participate in an annual stone-laying competition, where apprentices can compete for a chance to move on to the national event. Several of our apprentices have qualified for nationals in stone laying, and one has brought home the championship title. This competition provides another exciting pathway for apprentices to showcase their skills and rise to the top of the trade.
In addition to our bricklaying program, we offer a similar apprenticeship track for mason tenders. Just like our bricklayer apprentices, mason tender apprentices have their schooling fully paid for by Lampkin Masonry Inc. This program requires attendance two weeks a year and provides a clear, supported path into a skilled and rewarding trade.
If you’re interested in beginning the apprenticeship process, please contact our office at
